BUNTGEMISCHT

tanzbar_bremen & Gäste, Deutschland (Uraufführung)

Tickets kaufen für den 8. April

Bremen-Pass: 3 Euro

tanzbar_bremen and colleagues of various artistic genres invite to their colorfull performance: An evening, which most charmingly reflects the French “Varieté” culture of the 19th and 20th. While the audience is seated at loosely distributed tables, participants of the weekly tanzbar training and their guests present a program full of humorous and reflective miniatures and compositions. Dance, theatre, music, comedy and clown art turn everyday challenges into exciting scenes of a show that is as full of surprises as life itself.

In their workshop, The progressive wave impart the artistic method, on which their piece ORÁCULO is based. Together with the participants, Matan Zamir and Gal Maor explore possibilities to overcome limiting „conscious thinking“ in dance. Exercises and improvisations open up approaches to each one’s personal movement language. How differently do we communicate, when we leave „mental habits“ which depend on spoken and written language, and rely on the impulses of our bodies instead?

In STEPPING STONES they perform as a duo – in their workshop they pass on their extensive knowledge in breakdance. In two classes for beginners and advanced dancers, Redouan „Redo“ Ait Chitt and Jeroen van der Linden focus on developing each one’s own strength in movement. They teach floor and standing work, „freestyle“ dancing and short choreographies. “Redo“, who was born with several physical malformations, is a teacher in his own dance studio and active in shows all over the world. In the workshop, he works with all participants on their individual level.
